A flowering tree is most commonly a sign of that the tree is about to bear fruit, some eatable for humans and some not. It also very much depend on what one might classify as a fruit because although what one might have in a fruit bowl at home is fruit, so is also pine cones and nuts in a way. It is more of a protection for the seeds than anything eatable, although both pine cone seeds and nuts are eaten. A flowering tree can also be an incredibly beautiful experience. The apple tree is a flowering tree and the provider of the very beloved apple. While the tree usually is not much to look at, an apple tree in full bloom is. In some cultures the apple blossom is celebrated as the coming of spring and big parties are thrown annually to celebrate this event.

Although there are people that think that this flowering tree smells like semen the scent of the pear flowers are more often described as sweet and sensual. This flowering tree can become completely covered in flowers, all small and with a color of white with some pink or lemony in them. The pear itself is a delicious fruit best enjoyed as it is, natural and juicy.

The flowers of the cherry tree is especially cherished and therefore cultivars has created flowering trees which only purpose is to be beautiful, these trees will in other words not bear fruit. The pure beauty of this flowering tree comes from its enormous number of flowers that range from pink to white. Flowering tree – Lemon

While the flowers of the lemon tree are not very exciting to look at they sure have a fantastic smell to them. The scent of lemon can almost overwhelming and combined with the fact that this flowering tree can blossom and bear fruit at the same makes it still a highly appreciated ornamental tree. It will also make sure that the scent of this flowering tree is everlasting, as long as the tree lives.

Flowering tree – Walnut

Although though of as a bit messy by some people the walnut tree can actually be a beautiful addition. Its huge leaves in combination with its discrete flowers growing as hanging clusters, sort of like grapes, gives it a very tropical and exotic look and it is therefore it is appreciated as an ornamental flowering tree. One problem with the walnut tree is that it won’t let anything grow close to it, not even grass, rendering the ground around this flowering tree lifeless.
